Character development is the way a character changes and matures throughout the story.
Events in a character’s life can cause them to change.
Other people in a character’s life can cause a character to go through a change.
We often see these changes through what the character says and how he/she acts.
Characters who grow and change because of the events in the story are called dynamic characters.
